Clenbuterol
A bronchodilator, not a steroid. Supplied as 100 tablets at 40 micrograms.
What Clenbuterol is
Clenbuterol is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist and not an anabolic steroid. It belongs to the same pharmacological family as asthma bronchodilators. It appears in cutting contexts because beta-2 agonism produces a modest rise in metabolic rate, and its side effect profile comes from exactly the same mechanism as its effect.

The detail
The muscle-sparing claims attached to clenbuterol come from livestock research conducted at quantities that have no safe human equivalent. In humans it has no meaningful anabolic activity. Beta-2 receptors also downregulate with continued exposure, which is a documented property of the receptor rather than a quality issue with any product.

Common questions
Is clenbuterol a steroid?
No. It is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist, in the same family as bronchodilators used for asthma. It has no anabolic activity in humans and is not an anabolic steroid in any sense.
Why is clenbuterol measured in micrograms?
Because it is active at far smaller quantities than the anabolic orals. Tablets are 40 micrograms, which is 0.04 mg, so a 100 tablet tub contains 4 mg in total against 1,000 mg in a 100 tablet tub of 10 mg Anavar.
Does this page give dosing information for clenbuterol?
No. This is a reference resource covering what the compound is, its class and its presentation. It does not provide dosing protocols or administration schedules.
